www.Forclass.com (the “Website“) is owned and operated by SimClass Ltd. (“We” or “Us“). Through the Website, we maintain and operate a fully integrated cross-platform tool for case study distribution, student assessment and class management (the “Services“). We treasure our privacy and that is why we made every effort to create a service that would live up to such user privacy standards we would be comfortable with.
We know that you care how information about you is used and shared.
We may collect and store any information you explicitly provide or enable us to access, whether via the Website, the Services, or direct communication (for example, in the process of registration to the Website services, filling forms or submitting enquiries, completing assignments posted through the Services etc.), including, for example, information which identifies or relates to you personally, such as your name, classes, payment methods, and so on (“Personal Information“).
We collect and aggregate non-identifying information regarding your use of our Website and Services, including, for example, type of device through which the Website or Services is accessed, pages browsed, search inquiries, services that interested you or which you have utilized, the type of browser you are using and its settings, your IP address, the URL you have come from and the time spent at that URL, content of Cookies set by us (as further detailed below) and your domain type and server (“Non-Personal Information“).
Note that Non-Personal Information may be aggregated separately for each specific IP. That said, IP addresses, while identifying a device connected to the Internet and its general location, are in themselves anonymous and contain no information regarding the identity of the ultimate person using the device – such identity should be known solely to your ISP.
Moreover, IP addresses assigned by ISPs are generally (although not always) dynamic and subject to frequent change – static IP addresses are generally assigned only at subscriber’s specific request and frequently require an additional fee.
Use of Collected Information
Personal Information shall be used solely in order to facilitate and perform the Services, process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
For example –
We may share some or all of your Personal Information with the Faculty User that invited you to use the Services, subject to such Faculty User protecting your privacy in accordance with these terms.
Otherwise, we will not disclose your Personal Information to any third party, unless:
Non-Personal Information shall be used to ensure the adequate operation, improve, modify, cancel, enrich or adjust the Website, in general or to your area of interest.
Our Services and Website are designed to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”) and thus the Personal Information we collect is the minimal required for the use of the Services. No information from students’ educational records is released from the institutions or students during registration. Except for sending assignments and other materials to the designated Faculty User, no educational information is being shared. We do not collect specific students IP addresses. To the extent any educational records are being uploaded through the Services, such will not be transferred to any third party other than as expressly designated by you. We do not collect any information regarding your health or other Personal Information that is not expressly stated herein.
